Where It All Began
At the outset of my career as a BMW master technician, following my graduation from the BMW STEP program, I had no intentions of opening my own shop. However, as I progressed through my tenure at the dealership, I grew increasingly dissatisfied with the management practices, the treatment of technicians, and the significant disconnect between customers and technicians in the auto repair services industry.
After purchasing my home, I began working on cars for a few neighbors out of my barn. Word spread quickly, and I consistently received positive feedback about the quality of my work and service. Over the next three years, my home-based business grew rapidly. I often found myself working 18- to 22-hour days—balancing my responsibilities at the dealership, being a father, and spending nights working in the barn. Eventually, the demanding schedule began taking a serious toll on my health, leaving me with only 2 to 3 hours of sleep each night.
Taking the Leap
At that point, I faced a life-changing decision: continue working at the dealership while scaling back my work at home or leave the career I had built over more than 11 years to pursue my own business full-time.
I chose to take a leap of faith and founded Maine Luxury Auto Barn. It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made, especially knowing I had three young children to support while stepping into an uncertain future without a guaranteed income or safety net.
That pressure became my motivation. It fueled my determination to build Maine Luxury Auto Barn into the premier auto repair shop in Southern Maine—delivering exceptional luxury vehicle service and trusted car repair solutions in Biddeford.
Delivering a Better Client Experience
In late 2024, our team worked together to refine our client and repair processes to ensure every experience at our Biddeford repair shop is as seamless and efficient as possible.

Looking Ahead
We are excited to continue growing and helping even more clients receive the quality auto repair services they deserve.
In 2025, we once again acquired another bay in our building. Our team came together and ran the shop while completing a complete down to the beams renovation on the bay. This bay allowed us to add an employee locker room, training area, an office and the new Hunter Hawk Eye Elite alignment machine. This allowed us to become a one-stop shop for BMW and Mini owners.
We also brought on a second BMW / Mini Master Technician to better support our growing client base by providing faster, more efficient service.
