The first step of fixing any issue on any vehicle is an accurate diagnosis.  At Maine Luxury Auto Barn  we have the training, tools and experience to diagnose any issue on your BMW or other make vehicle.  Anything from a simple noise over a bump to an advanced computer module communication issue.  And yes we are certified. ASE master certified, ASE advanced level specialist, ASE BMW certified and BMW master technician. 

Basic labor includes any basic repair on any vehicle that does not require manufacture specific training or tools.  Brakes, suspension, gaskets, belts, basic part installs...  Although these repairs are basic, we always take the extra step to provide the highest quality repair possible. The little things are what count. Things like thoroughly clean off oil from oil leaks, adding proper rust protection and lubricants to know problem areas/hardware and things as simple as using torque wrenches.

BMW advanced repairs are repairs that are commonly considered to be dealership only repairs.  These repairs typically require manufacture specific tools, training and experience to complete properly.  These repairs are billed at a higher rate due to the special tools, attention to detail and advanced level of technician needed to do these repairs.

A proper oil change with high quality filter and oil is by far the most important part of keeping your BMW or other make vehicle running properly. In fact using low quality filters and oil can lead to complete engine failure.  See our gallery to see what happens to poor quality filter in your engine. At Maine Luxury Auto Barn we use Liqui Moly oil which is fully certified by BMW  and is the number one oil made in Germany.  We also you OEM filters to insure proper longevity and filtration.

Your vehicles drivetrain uses many fluids to operate and transfer the engines torque to the pavement.  All of these fluids brake down, lose lubrication properties and become acidic/dirty over time.  Proper fluid maintenance is key to preventing costly repairs and to ensure optimal vehicle performance / efficiency.  These fluids include: coolant, brake fluid, differential fluids,  transmission fluid, transfer case fluid and power steering fluid.  

Tires are the only thing that connects your vehicle to the road and one of the most important factors in your vehicles stability, traction, handling and brake distance.  At Maine Luxury Auto Barn, we know from experience that quality tires are extremely important.  We are not here to just sell you whatever tire happens to be on sale.  We will help advise you on the best tire choice for your vehicle based off your driving style and the environmental conditions that you drive your vehicle in.

A tire rotation and balance is the best way to extend the life of your vehicles tires and keep a smooth vibration free ride.  Tires wear at different speeds and in different spots due to weight transfer while cornering, torque distribution, alignment angles and driving conditions.  To keep tires wearing evenly they must be rotated frequently. Typically every 7,500 miles is a good time to have this service performed.
